The INDIAX Market Capability Method

A five-step method that moves you from assumption-led exports to a system your team owns.

Evidence first

Every decision starts from market evidence, not from the latest enquiry.

Systems, not slides

Every step ends in documents, models and systems you can use.

Capability stays with you

We train and hand over, so you no longer need us to run your exports.

The five steps

From diagnosis to handover.

Each step builds on the one before. Tap a step for the detail.

  3. 3

Governance and reporting

Performance measured, not guessed.

The Govern step puts three things in place, so you always know what is working.

CRM visibility

Every enquiry is tracked from source to order, so you can see which market, channel and message produce qualified pipeline.

Pipeline tracking

Clear pipeline stages and a shared definition of a qualified lead, reported the same way for every market.

Review rhythm

A fixed calendar of reviews, with named owners, so performance is discussed and acted on regularly.

A typical review rhythm (indicative)

Weekly

Pipeline review

What came in, what moved, what is stuck. Your sales owner leads.

Monthly

Distributor performance review

Results against targets, and the support each distributor needs.

Monthly

Pricing and margin check

Whether margin is holding after freight, duties and channel costs.

Quarterly

Market priority review

Whether to go deeper, add a market or pause one.

How we work with your team

Clear roles. A steady cadence. Nothing hidden.

Roles

  • An executive sponsor on your side, who makes the key decisions
  • One named owner for the system, who stays after handover
  • Finance support for cost and margin data
  • An INDIAX lead advisor, accountable for the work

Cadence

  • A kick-off to agree scope, inputs and owners
  • A regular check-in during each step
  • A written update after each check-in
  • A review at the end of each step before we move on

Transparency

  • You see the assumptions behind every number
  • Models and playbooks are yours to use and change
  • Scope changes are agreed in writing
  • If a market is not worth entering, we say so

FAQs

About the process.

How long does the whole process take?

The sample timeline shows 90 days from diagnostic to handover. Real timing depends on how many markets and pillars are in scope. We share the duration when you request a diagnostic.

Do we have to do all five steps?

No. Many manufacturers start with the Diagnose and Prioritise steps through the Export Readiness Diagnostic, and decide what to build after that.

What do you need from us in the first week?

Your product range, recent export sales data, price lists and cost structure, and a list of your distributors and enquiry sources. Each step above lists what we need from you.

How much of our team's time does it take?

You name one owner for the system, and the team joins short reviews and sessions. The exact time depends on scope, and we agree it before we start.

Who owns the models and data?

You do. Every model, playbook and template is built to be used and changed by your team.

Can you work with our existing CRM?

We set up CRM visibility around how you sell. We can work with the system you have or advise on what you need, and we agree this in the Build step.

How will we know how it is going?

Through a written update on the agreed cadence, plus the reviews in the governance rhythm. You see the assumptions behind every number.

What if the diagnostic shows a market is not worth entering?

We will tell you honestly. Saving you from the wrong market is part of the job.
