Enquiries arrive in bursts, from sources nobody tracks. Some turn into orders. Most do not. Ask which market, channel or message produces qualified pipeline, and nobody can say. Growth cannot be planned or repeated.
Define what counts as qualified
Agree pipeline stages and a shared definition of a qualified lead. Without one, a pipeline is only a list of names, and reports from different markets cannot be compared.
Track every enquiry from source to order
Record where each enquiry came from, and follow it through to an order or a loss. A CRM makes this routine. The point is not the software. It is that every enquiry becomes visible.
Review on a rhythm
A short weekly pipeline review (what came in, what moved, what is stuck) turns data into action. Performance is measured, not guessed.
What you can decide once you can see
- Which markets deserve more effort, and which less
- Which channels bring qualified leads
- Which messages get a response
- Where distributors need support
